  • What is Redemptive Recovery (RR)?
    Redemptive Recovery (RR) is a Christian recovery program for those that struggle with substance abuse. We believe that Jesus Christ has the power to transform our lives and that the bible is our roadmap. RR meets weekly and is for anyone currently navigating the challenges of addiction and also those that are further along in their recovery.   • What religion/denomination is Redemptive Recovery?
    Redemptive Recovery is based on the truths in the Christian bible. RR spans across all Christian denominations. If you are unsure if you are a Christian or are exploring faiths, we welcome you to join us!
  • How is Redemptive Recovery different from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)?
    Alcoholics Anonymous does not adhere to a certain religion while Redemptive Recovery is completely bible based. If you are unsure if you are a Christian or are exploring faiths, we welcome you to join us!
  • What can I expect at an RR group?
    Laid back and casual! Depending on the specific group, you may meet in a church, or another location such as a community center. You will probably sit around a table or in a small circle. We will read a short devotional and then have discussion and share time. That's it! Expect the meeting to be an hour long and check before hand (through email) to see if childcare is available for your group. Come as you are and enjoy the support and fellowship of people that understand what you are going through!
  • How can I start an RR group?
    Do you feel like God is calling you to start a group? It is very simple! No special training is needed and the only requirement is that the leader(s) are Christian. Learn where to start in our Start a Group tab.
  • Why can't I find any RR groups in my area?
    Redemptive Recovery is in the early stages of growth. Hopefully it will grow fast, and there will be more options soon! Is God calling you to start a group? It is very easy and no special training is needed. Visit our Start a Group tab for more information.
