" Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.”
(Jeremiah 33:6)
What broken areas of your life do you long for God to heal?
Our journey of recovery often begins with an awareness of our brokenness. Whether it’s addiction, pain, or strained relationships, these fractures can leave us feeling hopeless and beyond repair. Yet, Jeremiah reminds us of God’s incredible promise: He is a God who heals, restores, and brings abundance.
This verse speaks of God’s power to bring not just physical healing but also spiritual and emotional wholeness. He promises health, peace, and truth to those who seek Him. In recovery, we often learn that healing is not merely about the absence of brokenness—it’s about the fullness of life that God offers when we trust in Him in spite of our present circumstances.
God’s healing is a process. It may not come as quickly as we desire, but He works in every moment to bring about restoration. Along the way, He reveals His peace and truth, guiding us to a deeper understanding of His love and purpose for our lives.
What areas of your life do you need to surrender to God for healing? How has His truth brought peace to your recovery journey so far?
Loving Father, thank You for Your promise to heal and restore. I surrender my brokenness to You, trusting that You will bring health to my body, mind, and spirit. Reveal Your truth to me and fill my heart with peace as I walk this path of recovery. Thank You for Your unfailing love and the abundance You offer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
